Emmanuel Crespo

Emmanuel Crespo’s fantastical imaginings are dreamlike apparitions of his own personal journey. Through his body of work, the artist uncovers and interprets symbolic meanings and narratives in his personal life and the universe in which he exists. Each painting presents a cast of characters – some recurring, some new – created to uncover these narratives, which according to the artist, center on themes metaphysical and existential. Crespo’s paintings allow viewers to peer into his world, experience these deeply contemplative narratives, and meditate on their own existence.
